Transitioning Your Agency to LC - Email

Key Reminder: If your agency already uses Mailgun or SMTP within your CRM system, refer to the instructions below. However, if you're new to managing email services and haven't connected any third-party providers like Mailgun or SMTP, LC - Email is already enabled by default for your agency. Overview of LC - Email LC - Email has been designed to streamline email operations for agencies, removing the need to subscribe to external services such as Mailgun. Previously, agencies were required to integrate third-party email services for sending and receiving emails. LC - Email removes this extra step, allowing for seamless email functionality across all subaccounts. This guide outlines how to transition both your agency and its subaccounts to LC - Email. Steps to Migrate to LC - Email: 1. Navigate to your Agency Settings and select Email Services. 2. If you see the option 'Use LC - Email,' choose LeadConnector as your default email provider and follow the setup instructions. Note: Enabling LC - Email for your agency will not affect sub-accounts that already have SMTP or Mailgun configured. If you wish to remove an existing SMTP setup, see the instructions below. Once you've selected 'Use LC - Email,' any new subaccounts created under your agency will automatically utilize LC - Email by default. If needed, you can still manually configure other email services like SMTP or Mailgun for specific accounts. Troubleshooting Domain Errors In case you encounter the error message: “Request Failed: This domain is already configured inside a Mailgun account,” you will need to resolve this within your Mailgun account. Log into Mailgun, locate the conflicting domain configuration, and remove it. This will allow you to use the domain with LC - Email. Removing SMTP Integration: 1. In your agency settings, choose LeadConnector as the default email provider. 2. Go to the Gmail integration section. 3. Select the trash icon to remove the SMTP integration.
